Lucy

Most of you know Lucy has an aggressive type of canine cancer, hemangiosarcoma.  She continues to amaze us with her energy and enthusiasm.  We think hiking and playing in the snow are her greatest joys in life, so we do it often.  It has been 4 months since her speenectomy surgery.  With the type of chemo pill she's taking daily, they told us that would extend her life from 2-4 months to 4-6 months.  At the rate she's going, we think she'll live more than the 6 months.  That is our hearts desire anyway.  For those who have visited us at our condo in the mountains in the past, you can see they have taken down many dead trees behind our place.  It has made our hikes very interesting with the new views.
