Fall color drive

Friday we took a day trip to view the fall colors.  Here in Colorado it's more fall color - gold.  We drove through Leadville to Twin Lakes, then a little ways on Independence Pass.  We turned around by the sharp switchback pull off area.  Then we had lunch at Casa Blanca in Leadville.  We headed to Minturn via 24 and passed Camp Hale along that road.  From Minturn we took I-70 back to Summit County.  The weather was perfect and we had such a nice time with Nancy and Roy.
