This past Saturday night we went to a special dinner at Black Mountain Lodge at Arapahoe Basin ski resort. We went with our friends Constance and Don. They have these special dinners once a month during the ski season, usually close to when there is a full moon. Each dinner has a culinary theme and ours was French food. We had never gone before, they sell out quickly. You either have to take a chair lift up to the restaurant or you could snowshoe. The dinner started at 7:00 so we road the chair up in the dark. It was close to a full moon so the mountains were lit up nicely. The food, entertainment, and ambiance was all so fun.
We look forward to trying out another themed dinner next year. Maybe we'll try snowshoeing next year, if the weather cooperates.
