Just a quick post to let you all know Jon and Maria arrived last night around 6:00, a little later than planned. There was quite a bit of snow falling and then there is the eastbound skier traffic which slowed the driving down. Steve made his delicious Santorini Greek shrimp dish for them. We had a great time chatting and catching up.
We had a power failure around 10:30! That was quite a surprise. It appeared to effect our whole neighborhood. We lit some candles and decided we were all very tired. Around 2:40 the power came back on, along with all of the lights!! Luckily we were heating our place with the wood burning stove so we were all very toasty.
It's about 10:00 Sunday morning as I'm writing this and they are just stirring in the sunroom, where they slept last night. We're going snowshoeing today and I hope to post some photos later on.
