The wedding of Otis, Steve's Dad, and Olive was a lot of fun. They got married after square dancing at the senior center, which they do every Friday and is the original place they met. The mayor of Ithaca married them. Then we all went to a Chinese restaurant for the dinner reception where we enjoyed carrot cake for dessert. Otis and Olive make such a cute couple! All of Steve's 5 brothers and sisters made it to the wedding, as well as nieces and nephews, and great nieces and nephews. We enjoyed spending time with all of them too. There was lots of laughter in the house that's for sure!! Olive has a great sense of humor.
Tomorrow morning at 6:00 I fly to Illinois for a week to visit my parents. Steve will be flying home to pick up Lucy from our friends Helen and Jim. Thanks for taking such good care of her!!
