Father's Day

For Father's day, after church, we went out for breakfast with Mom and Dad's friends from church. Then we went to Paul and Marsha's for a cookout. We had yummy ribs and Marsha's great potato salad. Kyle and his girlfriend Katie were there along with Derek and his girlfriend Erin. We had a nice time, the weather was beautiful and we sat outside and visited. I took a spin on Marsha's scooter which is a blast to ride. It's pictured in the garage in the last photo, behind Derek and Erin.

I just calculated the $ we spent on gas and lodging for this trip and compared it to the last time we drove to Illinois, which was 12/06. That trip we spent $275.00 in gas compared to this trip where we spent $477.00! Lodging was $42.00 more too. Gas was the most expensive in the Chicago area.
