Here are photos showing Steve's progress on the benches. He made all of the cuts in a long 4x4 - lots of angles and notches! He figured that would be the most time efficient way to make all of the cuts. Then he cut them in segments that will become the supports for the benches. He assembled it just to see how everything fits. I'm going to help him stain the supports and bench tops tomorrow. That step will be easier to do before it's all nailed down. I bought Lucy a new outdoor lounge bed. It's lower to the ground so she can get on and off it with no trouble. Is she spoiled or what?! :-)
