Leadville

Roy, Roy, Gayle, and Steve.

Last month we went on a fun bike ride with our friends Roy, Gayle and her husband Roy.  There is a 12 miles paved bike trail called the Mineral Belt Loop on the outskirts of historic Leadville.  It takes you through mining relics and beautiful scenery, not to mention very steep climbs.  Steve and I were on our old mountain bikes, which weigh a ton compared to road bikes, so we were struggling to keep up at times.  The weather was perfect and we had such a fun time.  Then we had lunch in Leadville before heading home.
