Cataract Lake Hike

The waterfall is really gushing this year from all the extra deep snow-pack still melting.
The Columbine fields were the biggest and best I've ever seen.

This is a Fairy Slipper flower. They're rare to find and so petite and delicately beautiful.

Yesterday I went on a hike with the ladies from our church, Dillon Community Church in Dillon.  It was my first hike with them this year.  We went to Cataract Lake, north of Silverthorne.  It was a beautiful day and the wildflowers were gorgeous, especially the Columbine.  The 7 of us had a great time, in spite of the many mosquitoes.  If you click on the bottom right corner of the videos, you can view them in full screen.
