When we got back to our house last week our front lawn was just covered with acorns and acorn shells, not to mention a lot of well fed squirrels. It looked like we had our lawn aerated 5 times too many! Today Steve raked these in a pile and we were amazed how many there were. We were anxious to get rid of them and hopefully the squirrels will find another place to eat. We're not big fans of squirrels in my family.I fly to Illinois tomorrow to visit my parents. This Friday is my Dad's 86th, my Godson Derek's 26th, and Steve's sister Janet's 47th birthday, all on the 28th! This is my last post until I return from my trip to Illiniois in early October. Who knows what adventures Steve and FM will come up with while I'm gone!
