I returned from my Illinois trip Tuesday night. I really had a great visit with my parents. Last Friday was my Dad's 86th birthday and my Godson, Derek's 26th birthday. It was fun celebrating both birthdays.
A highlight of my trip was seeing all of my nieces and nephews and great nephews in the area. They're so much fun.
I'll be posting photos later. This morning I'm having my first colonoscopy. The prep hasn't been too bad actually, but I'm looking forward to putting the whole procedure behind me (pun intended).
