This day was a really unusual, but fun day of painting in Aix. This fountain, called Quatre Dauphins, was the center of a round-about & is a very busy intersection in town. To me they looked more like Carp with big lips, rather than dolphins. :-) All of us were painting from various locations on the sidewalks across the street from this fountain. Cars and trucks were zooming around this fountain all day, some stopping to unload things for nearby stores, thus blocking your view of the fountain you were painting. I guess my paint strokes responded to the chaos!
