We went to our friends Don and Constance's house for Thanksgiving. We had a great time and dinner was delicious!! Con had the table set so pretty. They have a beautiful house and spectacular views of the Blue River and the mountains. They frequently see wildlife from their place. Before dinner we spotted deer in the distance. In the 3rd photo Don and Steve are looking at 2 big deer with binoculars. I love that photo! They have the cutest Bichon Frise dogs, Coby and Casper. They had just gotten groomed and they were so fluffy and adorable. Constance made one of my favorite desserts, pumpkin cheese cake topped with caramelized pecans. She sent us home with leftovers of everything! We know what we'll be eating today, yum! The last photo was taken of part of the cord of wood Steve stacked on our deck. He did such a nice job and I thought the design was interesting. Of course there's a reason he stacked it that way, so the 2 wood piles would be supported on each end by the beams. It's a great feeling to be wood rich. Having a nice fire in our wood burning stove makes our place so cozy.
