We visited my Dad at the nursing home every day we were in Illinois. He seems to like it there and he has made friends there. My Mom is also recovering from her colon cancer surgery. She can drive short distances now and her stamina is improving - all good news! Christmas day she turns 85!!! We helped her get started on her month of birthday celebrations by taking her out for lunch at one of her favorite restaurants, Ray Radigans. They have the best Lake Superior Whitefish I've ever had.
