O & O's visit

I am a bit behind in posting photos on my blog and facebook. Here are some photos from Steve's parents visit last month. They flew out on September 16th and then back on the 30th. Olive, who is 90, had NEVER flown on a commercial airplane before!! When the flight attendants heard about this they told the pilots. They made a special announcement on the intercom that there was a woman on the plane flying for the first time. They asked her to stand up and then the pilot said, oh, did I mention she's 90?!?!?! Too fun. Both Olive and Otis enjoyed the flight here. Once they got here we stayed in Highlands Ranch for 3 nights to get them used to the higher altitude. Our house is 6,000' and then we headed to our condo which is 9,200'.

The first photos were taken in or by our house. Steve and Dad made cookies the first day they were here. We went to the Buckhorn Exchange in Denver for lunch on Friday. They boast having the first liquor license issued in the state! They have wild game and lots of stuffed animal heads throughout the place as you can see. We sampled appetizers of alligator tail and rattlesnake. Their buffalo meat there is really yummy. More photos to follow in another post.
